This post is long overdue! I started a new job three days after the White House tweetup and am still trying to reestablish my equilibrium. I was part of the group invited for a private tour of the grounds that provided additional access than what the public saw on the Fall Garden Tours.
Even walking up to the White House gates, I was amazed that I had actually been invited. The trip was quick – just 25 hours on the ground in DC – so there was a lot to take in during that short time.
